Domoszlay was born in Budapest, Hungary. She had the privilege to study with many "underground" artists in her early life in Budapest. She moved to the United States in the early ‘80s where she studied architecture and interior design, earning her Master's degree in Architecture and Interior Design from the University of Colorado, Denver. In 1991 she moved to Aspen to be closer to nature. She continued with her artwork and worked with a prominent architect. Domoszlay describes her Zen practice as a guide to be fully alive and present with her work. She uses many different mediums to respond to her continually growing and changing inner and outer environment. The Opera Gallery represents Domoszlay; her paintings have been exhibited widely, and her work can be found in numerous private collections. www.katadomo.com
